Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A structured program with multiple therapy sessions per week for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient care.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at MEM Scepter BHC is designed for clients who need a higher level of care than standard outpatient treatment, but do not require 24-hour supervision.
IOP typically includes:
- 3–5 days of programming per week
- Individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation
- Medication management as needed
- Relapse prevention and life skills training
- Family education and support
Clients can often continue working or attending school while in IOP.
